Owen Reinhardt

Bereavement Coordinator

Owen Reinhardt has been a dedicated chaplain since 2013 and has specialized in hospice bereavement support for the past three years. His passion for grief care began over a decade ago while training in hospice bereavement services. During that time, he worked closely with families navigating significant loss, supporting children, teenagers, and parents as they processed their grief in different ways. Whether facilitating therapeutic activities for children, providing a listening ear to teenagers, or guiding parents through their grief journey, Owen developed a deep commitment to walking alongside those facing profound loss.

As the Bereavement Coordinator at Amari Home Health and Hospice, Owen provides compassionate support to families after the passing of a loved one. He ensures that bereaved families receive continued care through follow-up calls, condolence messages, grief counseling, support groups, and community resources. Understanding that grief is deeply personal, he offers a nonjudgmental, empathetic presenceβ€”helping individuals navigate their emotions and find support that meets their unique needs.

Owen believes the most vital aspect of bereavement care is simply being presentβ€”offering a calm, understanding, and supportive space for individuals to process their loss. He remains committed to raising awareness about the importance of bereavement services and the healing power of connection.

Outside of his professional role, Owen enjoys spending time with his wife and their three young daughters. He is an avid drummer, an outdoor enthusiast who frequents the American River Trail, and a passionate pickleball player. To unwind, he listens to acoustic music.
